The people that are running are:

Kristi Davis: Oakland Hills Way

Experience and Background: I have been a registered nurse for the past 10 years. I have a lot of experience heading up committees and being responsible for the lives of patients from birth to old age. I am also the doting mother of a super sweet and loving 16-month-old boy. I have a lot of great ideas to help improve our community and would live the opportunity to be able to play an active role.

Reason you would like to serve as a Board Member: I would like to be on the board because it is very important to me to be an active member and have an integral part of the community we have already invested so much into. I wasn’t to be able to be a part of improving this beautiful neighborhood that we have decided to call home.

Any other information you believe would be relevant in evaluating your candidacy:

How often have you attended monthly Board meetings? No, as I recently moved into the neighborhood.

Have you read Hedingham’ s Covenants and Bylaws? Yes

Kendrick Jacobs: Haig Point Way

Experience and Background: I have lived in the community for 9 years, father of 2 and married for 12 years. I am currently a regional manager responsible for 3 states. I am organized and detail oriented.

Reason you would like to serve as a Board Member: I feel that this community needs some new voices that are looking out for the entire community, not just what serves them best.

Any other information you believe would be relevant in evaluating your candidacy: I believe we need voices that allow the management team to do their job. The Board should be here for support and guidance and we need to work together instead of finding faults with everyone.

How often have you attended monthly Board meetings? Many times.

Have you read Hedingham’ s Covenants and Bylaws? Yes

Cliff Moore: Spanish Bay Ct.

Experience and Background: Retired US Govt. Supervisor for USDA regulated farm programs for NC for 29 years. Responsible for overseeing regulations for the State.

Reason you would like to serve as a Board Member: Help to bring about bylaws and help suggestions for the betterment of the community. Hear responses from residents and try to address their concerns.

Any other information you believe would be relevant in evaluating your candidacy: My dealings with farmers and other community individuals is my strongest suit, I’m a good listener and Fred Smith knows of my abilities.

How often have you attended monthly Board meetings? 2 times a quarter on average.

Have you read Hedingham’ s Covenants and Bylaws? Yes

Todd Stoffer: Persimmon Ridge

Experience and Background: I am relatively new to the area (having lived in Raleigh for 3 years now). I moved from D.C. Metro area and am currently working at NCSU Libraries as a Librarian and Software Developer. I have past experience serving on the Board of a nonprofit organization and enjoyed it quite a bit. I am well-organized and responsive to community needs.

Reason you would like to serve as a Board Member: We have lived in Hedingham for the past three years. For the first two years, we were renting and purchased our townhome just over 1 year ago. We really enjoy living in the neighborhood and I would like to do what I can to help keep it a great place to live. I think Hedingham is a unique neighborhood and have been impressed in how much the neighborhood is able to provide with our relatively low HOA fees. I would be happy to help in any way I can to ensure we are able to continue providing great services to the residents.

Any other information you believe would be relevant in evaluating your candidacy:

Reason you would like to serve as a Board Member: I would like to continue serving my community alongside those who have served in this particular capacity to enhance and improve living in Hedingham.

Any other information you believe would be relevant in evaluating your candidacy:  I have two master’s degrees and was a PH.D. candidate until recently when I withdraw for personal reasons.

How often have you attended monthly Board meetings? None, yet. I saw this as a way of getting involved after living here for 8 years since August.

Have you read Hedingham’ s Covenants and Bylaws? Yes

Craig Jacobelli: Dyer Court

Experience and Background: I feel I would be a valuable addition to the board for a couple of reasons. I have had multiple leadership roles throughout my life so far and have had the opportunity to work with a multitude of different types of people. I played baseball throughout my life, and in college, and it takes a lot of people skills to accomplish this. My first job out of college was one in which I oversaw payroll for 50-60 employees, which again allowed me to converse and find solutions with a bunch of people (some not so happy ones as well).

Reason you would like to serve as a Board Member: I would like to serve as a member because I feel it would be a great experience to add to a resume and to meet outgoing people in the Hedingham community. I feel I would bring a different perspective to the board as well, as I have only been out of college for a couple years now. I see more and more young people moving to the area, and I think I would have a better angle at getting them involved in the community.

Any other information you believe would be relevant in evaluating your candidacy: I am extremely responsible and driven, and only want what is best for our community.
